This is the first beta version of Opal CD. As I develop this program you will see
new versions coming out. Any bug reports and comments should be sent via E-Mail
to rdohren@ibm.net or to Compuserve 71301,3262.

The use of Opal CD is self explanatory. Anyone who have used a cd disk should be
able to use Opal CD. There are a few additions that have to be mentioned.

1. Clicking the right mouse button anywhere on the CD faceplate causes the panel
to change the information it displays. There are five panels ( track elapsed time,
track remaining time, total cd elapsed time, total cd remaining time and total cd
time ).

2. The CD volume can be changed from the right volume bar. Just point to the bar
and click or click and drag the volume bar.

3. The position in the track can also be changed from the horizontal progress bar.
The procedure to change the position in the track is the same used to set the
volume.

4. The top control between the volume bar and the panel is the shuffle control.
Setting this option instructs Opal CD to play the current CD in a random format.

5. Setting the repeat option ( control below the shuffle icon ) instructs Opal CD
to play the current disk continiuosly and sequentially.

6. Setting shuffle and repeat instructs Opal CD to repeat the shuffling
continiously.

7. The select CD ( bottom control ) is not implemented in this version.

Future versions will include full programability, online documentation, fonts
selection and more. In addition I am planing to develop a full pack ( MIDI,
WAV, AVI, Mixer ) to complement Opal CD.

Two files are included in this package cdplay1 and cdplay2. The difference between
them is the fonts used to display the panel information.

Now the legal stuff.
I developed this product in good faith. I have tested this program and found no
harmful side effects in using it. You should use it at your own risk. All This
