                  ZCE Configuration Program, ZCECFG.EXE

ZCECFG is the configuration program for ZCE colors and variables. ZCECFG
reads and writes the configuration files ZCE.CFG. ZCECFG has three main
areas. The Command Control Window shows the available commands. You can
Modify, Save, Quit and Restore Color and Monochrome defaults using the
Pick Box Commands . The version of ZCECFG and location of the ZCE.CFG
file is displayed in the upper right corner.

Selecting Modify will cause ZCECFG to read the file ZCE.CFG and display
the variables. ZCE.CFG must be located in the Dos Path. If ZCECFG could
not find or read ZCE.CFG, an error will be displayed. See the help for
Full Screen Commands for data entry and cursor movement. A color map of
colors to numbers is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Enter the the
number of the color you want to use for each part of ZCE. Pressing F1 on
any variable will display more information if it is available.

                        On Line Help System <F1>

This help system is context sensitive which means it will try to
provide help for the current program operation. Help is available at
all times by pressing F1. After reading help you return to the
program by pressing ESC or clicking the right mouse button.

Certain words within the help text may appear in different colors.
These highlighted words are links to other screens which provide
related information.

To view a linked screen, all you have to do is highlight the link you
are interested in and press RETURN. There are several ways to highlight
a link. You may use the cursor keys to move the highlight or you may
press the first letter of the link you want. If there are several links
that start with the same first letter just keep pressing it until the
desired link is highlighted. If you use a mouse just click on a link
name to select it and display the linked screen.

                                                                 PgDn...

This help system remembers the order in which you view the help screens
and allows you to retrace your steps by displaying previously viewed
screens. To back up and view a previous screen you just press PgUp.
The program will remember the last 64 screens that were displayed. On
the top right of the help window a small up arrow will be displayed if
there are any previous screens that may be viewed.

You may also see a small down arrow at the bottom right of the help
window. This indicates that there is another screen that goes with the
current screen. Just press PgDn to view it. Clicking either arrow with
the mouse will display the desired screen.

                      Pick Box Commands

<Home> Moves to the first file in the list.
<End> Moves to the last file in the list.
<PgUp> If the highlight bar is at the top of the box, the previous
"group" of files will be displayed and the bar will remain
at the top of the box. If the highlight bar is not at the
top of the box, it will move to the top.
<PgDn> If the highlight bar is at the bottom of the box, the next
"group" of files will be displayed and the bar will remain
positioned at the bottom of the box. If the highlight bar
is not currently at the bottom of the box, it will move to
            the bottom.
<Up Arrow> Moves the highlight bar up one file. If the bar is at the
top of the top of the box, the previous "group" of files
will be displayed and the bar positioned at the bottom.
<Dn Arrow> Moves the highlight bar down one file. If the bar is at the
bottom of the top of the box, the next "group" of files will
be displayed and the bar positioned at the top.
<SpaceBar> Tags or selects the currently highlighted file. Pressing

the spacebar a second time will untag the highlighted file.

The Mouse can be used to scroll through the list of files in the box by
clicking the left button on the scroll bar. Clicking the left button on
any file within the box operates the the same as the space bar if tagging
is available. Clicking the right button will operate the same as
pressing the escape key.
