caused by using HOSTAGE RESCUE WAD or any of its
composite parts. We suggest that you should always
back up your Doom2 directory before using ANY
external PWAD. If you are unsure about any of the
install/uninstall procedures, don't proceed.

* Briefing *
Wealthy industrialists have been kidnapped by 
terrorists and taken to the terrorist's 
training compound. The terrorists claim that they
have rigged explosives to the bodies of the 
hostages. This makes accuracy twice as important -
you never want to shoot a hostage, but if you do,
your mission will end very suddenly. Yesterday, a 4 
member assault team attempted to storm the compound.
However, they were captured and killed.
Tonight, it has been decided that another rescue 
attempt should take place. However, it must be
remembered that the terrorists are extremely alert;
they have placed extra guards, alsatians, and land mines 
on the perimeter of their building. Your method of 
infiltration will be to proceed to the north of the 
compound, through a chainlink fence, and into a small
apartment. You will then leap from this apartment, onto
a balcony on the west of the compound, and then proceed
inwards from there. The compound is built around a 
courtyard, with rooms branching off to the sides. There 
are also other outer structures that must be 
systematically searched. Your orders are to kill all 
terrorists on sight. 
Investigations indicate that there is an extensive 
underground sewage system, which connects the 
compound to the outside world. It is likely that this 
will be the best exfil. route - although it will probably 
be heavily guarded. A chopper will be in the area. When 
you have cleared the building, it will drop down to pick 
you up. Bomb disposal experts will then go in, and release 
the hostages. Since your mission will take place at 03:00 
hours, it will be a 'black op' to take advantage of the 
darkness.

* Known Bugs *
Grenades CAN pass through external walls & 
leave the play area.

*Weapons*
Punch, Silenced Beretta, Double Shotgun, Auto Shotgun, 
Heckler & Koch MP5, Stun Grenades, Claymore Mines.
Your hand grenades have a vision distorting, radioactive
charge. Works only in deathmatch mode. Thanks to Michael
Gummelt who was good enough to explain how it was done.
