This program will display 1/2/4/8 bit color uncompressed MSDOS Windows
.BMP files on your ATARI. This is a no thrills program. Basic operation are
as follows:

1. Double click on bmpshow.ttp.
2. Enter the path of the file you wish to display. The path can be anyone
   of these:
   
   a. "d:\*.BMP" or "d:\" will display all .bmp files on d: root.
   b. "a:\filename" will not work. You will need the .bmp extension. 
   c. "a:\fileanme\" will display all .bmp files in the directory 'filename'.
   d. "a:\*.*" will try to display all file on drive 'A' even the ones that
      are not .bmp files.
      
3. If wildcard search is used pessing any key will move to the next file.
   If there are no more files to view program will exit.
4. Pressing ESC will exit the program.     

** NOTICE ****  Having to add this stinks, but you know how people can be...
Since this is freeware and source code is included. You, the user must take 
reponsiblility for any ill effects on the hardware you run this program 
on. The word 'hardware' means your computer, software, monitor, printer,
and anything else connected to said computer at the time and after the
time this software was run.

This software was tested/compiled using the following equipment:
Falcon030 4/85 Meg Memory/Hard drive. SVGA Monitor, Pure 'C' Complier.
If you plan on using Lattice 'C'. Make sure the flag is set to use
16 bit integers.
