Edith Manual Icons 18th May 1994 Windows can be ICONIFIED under any operating system. When MultiTOS is used, each window has a window SMALLER, next to the FULLER, marked '': +---+------------------------+---+---+ | | Title | | | +---+------------------------+---+---+ | work area | A window is iconified by clicking on the smaller. MultiTOS automatically aligns the icons in the bottom left corner of the screen. When using a single tasking Atari system, there is no smaller, and the only way to iconify a window is through selecting ICONIFY from the WINDOWS menu, or by pressing the 0 key on the numerical keypad. An icon is opened by a single mouse click, or a double mouse click when MultiTOS is being used. ** The 0 key on the num pad only serves for iconification when WINDOW OPERATIONS is selected in the KEYBOARD AND MOUSE dialog. ** Even when a text is iconified, it still occupies one of the six slots for text windows.
