TML_MAN is a grogram that will allow you to check and manipulate the data structures used by T-Mail (by Ben Van Bokkem). TML_MAN need's a file called TML_MAN.CFG. This file controlls what TML_MAN will do for you. All keywords in TML_MAN.CFG are not case sensitiv. There are some keywords that have to be properly configured: TmailPath This is the path to your main BBS folder, where TMAIL.DAT and TMAIL.PTR are. Please backup all TMAIL.* files befor TML_MAN ist started. AreasPath This is the Path to your AREAS.BBS file All following keywords are optional. These keywords trigger functions or change names and options. LogFile This is the path and name of the log. All output and information is written into this file. Info Print information from TMAIL.DAT. This action can also be started by the commandline option -I. CrossCheck Check TMAIL.DAT against AREAS.BBS (and vice versa) for missing areas or wrong path names. Also by commandline with -C. AutoAdd [group][group]... Add all areas from the specified group to TMAIL.DAT. Areas ar only added if: 1. Crosscheck is performed, 2. if data matches with specified in the 'Sig' command (see below), 3. and 'SaveData' (or -S) is set. Exclude [group][group]... Exclude groups from being added. This is not needed. Access Default access level for all new added areas. Description Default description for all new added areas. Flag Default flag for all new addes areas. Sig specifies the number of the Sig, starting with 0. Parameters and are optional. A '*' for or means that this will not be changed. A '-1' for means also that the sig level remains the same. Only those sigs that are used for Autoadd or Sig's that will be renamed must be specified with the SIG keyword. This command is used for several purposes: 1. Change name, level, or description of the SIG. 2. Specify groups that should be added to this SIG by AutoAdd. SwapSigs Exchange the two specified sigs. It is highly recommended not to mix AutoAdd and SwapSigs in the same run of TML_MAN! Only one 'SwapSigs' command is valid per config file. Address <4D-Address> This command manipulates the fido tech addresses used by T-Mail. 'Flag' has the following meaning: + for adding a new 'Address' and 'Outbound' - for removing a 'Address' c for change Outbound-Path of existing Address Here is an example: Address c 100:11/0.0 K:\bbs\io\outbound\ This changes outbound path for given address in TMAIL.DAT. SaveData This command saves all manipulated data back to disk. This can also be initiated by -S in the commandline of TML_MAN. This is recommended: 1. Edit the config file, no SaveData command in it. 2. start TML_MAN with no commandline options. 3. check the log file for errors, if no errors: 4. start TML_MAN -S for saving the manipulated data. Now that's it. Wolfgang Zweygart B”blingen, 14.04.1994.
