BINKSEMP : Updates ----------------- V2.0 : Binklog & semplog are now combined into one program Speed increase for Semplog users with a Major Speed increase for Binklog users. If you already run BINKLOG then delete the following files BINKSTAT.DAI BINKSTAT.MON BINKSTAT.OLD BINKLOG.GRF You MAY want to delete your CALLED and CALLERS lists as the format has changed ever so slightly, if you do so then also delete BINKLOG.DAT. Edit the BINKSEMP.CFG in this archive to suit. if you run SEMPLOG V1.07 then rename the following files SEMPSTAT.DAI to BINKSEMP.DAI SEMPSTAT.MON to BINKSEMP.MON SEMPSTAT.OLD to BINKSEMP.OLD SEMPLOG.DAT to BINKSEMP.DAT SEMPLOG.GRF to BINKSEMP.GRF If running Semplog 1.06 or older. Delete the SEMPSTAT.* files and SEMPLOG.GRF , rename the SEMPLOG.DAT to BINKSTAT.DAT edit the BINKSEMP.CFG in the archive to suit. V 1.07 : having had bug reports about addresses > 14 characters in length I decided to re-write about 50% of SEMPLOG , if you already run version 1.06 or earlier you MUST delete the following files SEMPSTAT.DAI SEMPSTAT.MON SEMPSTAT.OLD SEMPLOG.GRF This is because Semplog now no longer uses ASCII text to store it's information , it uses byt and longwords , making the data files MUCH smaller and faster to process. You MAY want to delete your CALLED and CALLERS lists as the format has changed ever so slightly, if you do so then also delete SEMPLOG.DAT. If an address read in is over 14 characters in length then it is truncated to 13 characters and a > is added to the end to signal an address which was too long to display. If a system sends or recieves over 10 megs of data then the display now shows the amount in K instead of bytes. V 1.06 : One more bug where Semplog thought you had called out and it was a point calling in checked and fixed , occoured if you got 00:05:01 Dialing xxx-xxx-xxx <- You dialing out 00:05:03 Ring <- incoming ring noticed 00:05:08 Connect 14400/ARQ/V32 <- Connected incoming call ======== one immediately after the other in the log. Semplog definately now catches the incoming file requests. V 1.05 : Hopefully I have fixed the problem wherby some entries for the Nodes you call end up in the Callers log instead of the Called list Semplog should now notice any incoming file requests and put the F flag in the callers list.
