During this year I have spent very much of my time and money, in telephone bills, so that these programs become a decent software package. Thus I have decided to ask for a Shareware contribution for the ACS package so that at least some of my costs are covered. I've heard from many places that some people confuse Shareware with Public Domain, thus the programmer doesn't always receive the proper and fitting payment for his troubles. I hope you are understanding in that I don't want to give away all my work and time which I have invested in this project for free. As thanks to all those who have paid their Shareware contribution I will be available, via NetMail, to answer all questions concerning problems about installation and (hopefully few) during operation of the ACS package. Those who haven't contributed, won't get any information. But now, to the most important part of this text: "How can I enter the circle of the 'Enlightened'?" Thats not even so hard. +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | You just have to send a letter or NetMail with your exact Address | | (not only Fido, but your home address too) and your Sysop-Name. | | Then you will receive a Serialnumber for the proper use of the ACS. | | Please try to request the ACS somewhere near your home. It is too | | much work to send lots of Disks around the world. | | (If you realy wish to get the ACS via Disk, write it clearly and | | keep calm some weeks.) | +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | The Shareware contribution for the entire: 50 DM for Europeans and | | ACS Package is: US$40 for all others. | +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ The contribution is a little higher for those outside of Europe because I believe that fast correspondence, for example with the USA, is more expensive than within Germany and Europe. (Well, it looks like i have great problems with the phoneline when calling the USA. I did never get connected to Systems with slow Modems. I think it might be a good idea to have someone there who can do a bit of distribution for ACS.) "Where should the contribution be transferred/paid to?" The best way is to send me your Donation (together with your Homeaddress) to the following address in Germany: Roland Bohn Dueppelstr. 25 D-4630 Bochum 1 Germany The Shareware-Donation for Users within Europe is DM 50. For Users outside of Europe it is US$ 40. All Users should send their Shareware payment in Banknotes (i mean Cash) via registered mail, insured, to the above address. This is most likely the easiest and securest method. I've never had problems with that till now. If somebody has too many money or doesn't want to send me the Donation in Cash, for whatever reason, then he can transfer it to the following account: Roland Bohn Account No.: 101306710 Bank No.: 430 500 01 Sparkasse Bochum, Germany It happened often that new Users from foreign Countries transferred theyr Donation to my account but the Bank kept 20 DM for taxes. Please remember this and add this difference to the Donation or pay yourself the taxes for the transferation. In case you have any questions about the above, just send a NetMail please. I hope you will be satisfied with the software. A working Version should be available on just about every ST mailbox in your area... I would recommend to request at first the ACS-Documents, read them and then decide if you are still interested in ACS. With best wishes, Roland Bohn
