Additional information for owners of "Compaq" computers using the TABWORKS shell. . . Running the installation directly from TABWORKS may not create the tab (page) and icon(s) after the files are transferred. If you installed from TABWORKS and did not have icon(s) appear on a new page, follow the steps outlined below: "TABWORKS" is a replacement shell for the Windows Program Manager. In order for the Groups and program Icons to be created, Program Manager must be running. You can start Program Manager by clicking on the TABWORKS icon for Program Manager or using FILE | RUN and enter PROGMAN at the command line. Re-start the installation in Program Manager -- use FILE | RUN and at the command line enter the drive letter of your source drive followed by :\SETUP press the [Enter] key. Assuming that the source drive letter is A, this is what you would enter at the command line: A:\CV and press the [Enter] key. It's that easy. Group(s) and Icon(s) will then be created in Program Manager. Please see the documentation you received with your computer about TABWORKS (or the on-line Help) for instructions for creating pages in TABWORKS which correspond to the Groups in Windows Program Manager.
