  Why subscribe?
  -------------

There are 50,000 files on this BBS. Occurpying over 12 gigs.
1200mb of that is adult material, 750mb in OS/2, 750mb Amiga
and around 150mb of Star Trek stuff and the rest is IBM stuff
(which includes Windows and Windows 95)

All of the file areas are continually growing.
There are 2 33k lines available.
There are no filepoints enforced for donators.

There are 8 CDs. Four of which are online at any one time. They are
swapped every second week on the 1st, and the 16th of each month. Plus
our total disk space is now 17 gigabytes.

This BBS cost over $9,000 to set up and costs over $2,000 per year to
keep operational. The BBS is a dedicated Pentium machine that performs
no other function than to bring you enjoyment.

                            WHAT ARE FILEPOINTS?
                            --------------------

Filepoints are different to file ratios (which this BBS does *not* use).
1 filepoint = 10kb of file. Each new user is given 115 free filepoints.
You can download 1150kb of files free (except for your very first call).

If you upload a file you get 1 filepoint for every 10kb of file. If the
file was 150kb in size you would get 15 filepoints. Then, if someone
downloads the file you uploaded you are credited 9 filepoints per 100kb
of file. Eg 150kb file = 14 filepoints.

It makes sense then to upload recent useful files because people will then
download it and you will get more filepoints.

If your security level is less than 100 once you run out of filepoints you
cannot download any more files until you upload files, or people download
  the files you uploaded.

  Level 10
  --------

Guest caller. A new user that has NOT completed the new user questionaire.
Users at this level get 100kb per day. The second questionaire, the
newuser questionaire must be completed within 7 days or the first call or
the account is deleted. The sysop will not attempt to verify you at this
point. Messages requesting upgrading will be ignored. You also cannot page
the sysop, read message or download anything but the free files at this
  access level.

  Level 15
  --------

New user level. New users are upgraded to this level as soon as they fill
out the new user questionaire. Filepoints are also reset to 115. The sysop
will attempt to verify that you are who you say you are. If that is
possible you are then upgraded to level 50 else the account is deleted. At
this point you have 250kb download allowance. Generally the sysop upgrades
users at this level within 24 hours.

  Level 50
  --------

The 'Normal' user level. Here you have 45 minutes per day with 600kb of
downloads. You can also bank 30 minutes of time and 2.5mb of download
allowance. This means that at most you can download in a day is 3.1mb file
  within approximately 1.25 hours.

  Level 75
  --------

The 'Gamers' user level. Here you have 60 minutes per day with 750kb of
downloads. You can also bank 45 minutes of time and 3mb of download
allowance. This means that at most you can download in a day is 3.75mb file
  within approximately 1.75 hours.

This level is automatically awarded to members that regularly play online
games (Such as BRE, Falcon's Eye, LORD etc).

  Level 100
  ---------

"Subscriber level 1". This level costs $25 per year.

You get 5000kb per day plus a bank allowance of 4mb. Time is 75 minutes
per day, plus a bank allowance 75 minutes giving you a maximum download
size of 9mb in 2.5 hours.

This level is the first where there are no filepoints. You never need to
upload another file if you are on level 100 or above. Even if the BBS tells
you that you have no filepoints you will still be able to download files.

Internet access is automatically granted at this level.

  Level 500
  ---------

"Subscriber level 2". This level costs $50 per year.

At this level you get 15mb per day, a bank balance of 5mb. Time is 2 hours
per day (120 minutes), with a bank allowance 2 hours also, giving you a
maximum download of 20mb with 4 hours maximum online time.

Internet access is automatically granted at this level

  Level 1000
  ----------

  "Visiting Sysop" level.
This level is assigned to system operators from other BBSs. You must
Supply your BBS name, phone number and network address. The sysop of TBT
will then call your BBS to verify that you are the sysop (not cosysop), of
the named BBS. If all is ok you get this level. It allows you 7.5mb per day
with 90 minutes per day online time.
  on Supersaver.

Internet access is automatically provided for all users at this level.

  Level 5000
  ----------

"Long Term Subscriber". Costs $120 and gets you 5 years membership.

This level gives you 20mb per day, with a bank allowance of 7.50 mb so
your maximum download in a day is 27.5 mb. You have 2.5 hours online time
with 2.50 hours in the bank, so you can spend up to 5 hours online.

Internet access is automatically provided for all users at this level.

  Level 9000
  ----------

The "TBT POWER USER" account is provided for serious BBS/Internet users
who want to operate in a totally unrestricted manner. This level uses
NO filepoints, has no ratios and is not a "use it or lose it" scheme.

You purchase the number of hours you want. The basic cost of 50 cents per
hour but this goes down the more hours you buy. You get the following...

6 hours per day every day of the year
65 megs of downloads per day
   Access to ALL CDs
Access to ALL VIP file areas
   Access to online games
Access to Internet e-mail (with your own TBT address)
   Access to Internet newsgroups.
Access to additional internet facilities as soon as they become available
Use the account as you see fit. Use the hours when you want. Not when
    you're told to.

The cost per hour is as follows...

             1 - 100 hours 50 cents / hour
           101 - 300 hours 47 cents / hour
           301 - 700 hours 43 cents / hour
           701 - 1200 hours 37 cents / hour
          1201 - 9999 hours 25 cents / hour
