File Monitor System version 1.0 June 5, 1996

This is the initial release of an application written to monitor
paths for incoming files. When a change is detected an SMTP
e-mail message is sent to the party or parties related to that
directory.

Known Bug:

* The CIMAIL.OCX doesn't get registered correctly on the NT
  4.0 Beta 2 OS.

This application has been run extensively in a NT 3.51 environment
testing has not been performed on Windows 95 systems.

If you run into problems getting e-mail to work, check and double
check your SMTP server settings. If the SMTP host's address or
port is wrong, nothing will happen. Also, if you are not the admin
of the SMTP host, talk to that person to make sure that using this
program with the host will not cause problems.

This application's SMTP routines are compliant with the SMTP RFC.

I hope you find the program useful.

Sincerely,

George Spafford
