0...WHAT'S NEW
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

freeDUM 1.10 introduces a new explorer style interface and an advanced new
dialer which replaces the Windows 95 dialer automation used previously. The
dialer can dial silently in the background while you do other tasks and then
notify you by playing a defined wave file.

Some of the new features are :

- Component design which allows multiple Profiles share the same Connection,
Log, Launch Folder and Custom Window.
- Launch Folders can launch applications at various times during a connection,
define applications to launch only one and wait until an application closes
before continuing or disconnects the connection.
- Close applications launched
- The freeDUM tray icon.

5...UPGRADING FROM freeDUM 1.0x
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

freeDUM 1.10 is not fully compatible with earlier versions. Only log files and
custom window designs can be used under freeDUM 1.10. Existing connectons will
not be updated.

To use an existing log file create a log in freeDUM 1.10 and copy the old
log file into the log's folder (not in freeDUM's explorer)

To use existing custom window design's copy the config file from the 'Custom'
folder under freeDUM 1.0x to the 'Custom Windows' folder in freeDUM 1.10.

Eairler versions of freeDUM can coexist with freeDUM 1.10 and it is
recommended you do so in case freeDUM 1.10 does not work with your system.
