ClipName V1.1, January 29 1996
Bob Beck (rbk@teleport.com)

How often have you wanted to get the full pathname of a file, but file
manager and explorer don't let you, so you wind up actually *typing*
parts of the name? For me it was too often, so I wrote this little
utility to help. Very simple usage: drag file name(s) from file manager
or explorer and drop on this program, and the names will be copied to
the clipboard. If more than one name is given, they are placed on
separate lines when pasted into a document.

See the help file for usage information.

Installation is simple:

Copy ClipName.exe and ClipName.hlp anywhere you like. Arrange to
launch it as you see fit (depends on which UI you're using - see
    the help file for details).

On the Win95 interface, you can place a shortcut to ClipName in
the SendTo folder. To find the SendTo folder, click the Start
button, and then click Run. Type Sendto in the Run dialog box.
This opens an explorer window on the "Send To" folder. Place a
shortcut here however you like. I name it "Pathname to
Clipboard" so it's reasonably intuitive when hanging off the
    "Send To" menu.

ClipName is public domain, freeware. Feel free to copy it as long as
this file is copied also and I retain credit for its creation.

Please direct comments, complaints, questions, feature requests, etc, to
me (rbk@teleport.com). The latest copy of ClipName may be found at:
