INFORMER
--------

INFORMER is a program to survey your system resource's and the amount of
free memory while running Windows. It has an alert function to warn you,
if the free resources or the amount of free memory falls under a certain
value. You can set this values from 1% up to 99% for the system resources
amd from 1KiloByte up to 16MegaByte for the memory. INFORMER displays the
free GDI and USER heap size, the free memory size and the number of tasks
running in his window title. You can change the update rate from 2ms up to
60000ms ( = 1 minute). If you enter incorrect values, the default values
will be set ( Memory alert 64 KiloByte. Resource alert 20%. Update Rate
1000 ms).

Other functions are :

  - exit and restart Windows functions
  - start SYSEDIT
  - activate screensaver ( Windows 3.1 with installed screensaver required !)
  - launch global compact
