enhpcp1.zip readme file. Thanks for downloading my scripts! If you haven't already gotten the accompanying "enhpcp1.txt" file, you should go back to the place you downloaded this from (my original upload was to wuarchive.wustl.edu in /pub/MSDOS_UPLOADS), because it's about 2.5k of text I don't want to have to retype! Just a couple of important things. Look the scripts over before running them. They're pretty much ready to go, but you have to go in and tell it what your system prompt is, and your e-maill address (for logging in to ftp servers.) The other important thing to do is to place the accompanying sample data files (files.txt,file.txt,sites.txt,sitedirs.txt) in c:\prowin before you run either of the ftp scripts. If you wish to use another directory, just search through "ftp.was" and "ftptry.was" for "c:\prowin" and replace it with whatever you want. Please send me feedback! Tell me what to change, what you like, etc. If you like these, look for more scripts in the future! If you don't like them, you don't have to look, but they'll be there anyway! Erick Hammersmark ehammers@u.washington.edu P.S. I hated using the cliche "readme.txt" name for this file, but I wanted to make sure you read it. If you decide to hang on to this file (i.e. not delete it), please rename it something more interesting! P.P.S. I have no idea why anyone would be interested in this, but I thought I'd put it in anyway. The names of the scripts now are not their original names. "ftp.was" is (at least on my hard drive) "ftp2.was," and "ftptry.was" is "nyxf2.was", so named for the site it was first written for (kinda).
