WHAT IS IT?

People who have used Unix or Linux systems would probably know
about the 'fortune' command that prints out a random epigram.
wFortune is not a port of this program, but it performs the same
basic function. When wFortune is run normally, it will display
a window containting a random epigram.

INSTALL

Before installing wFortune, you need to make sure you have the
    file 'vb40032.dll' in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. I don't
include this file with the distribution to save space, and it is
easily found elsewhere (see the site at the top of this readme).

Now just run the Setup.exe program.

NOTES

wFortune is a 32bit Windows program, so it won't run on Win3.1
(If enough people ask, I may recompile it for 16bit).

See the file wFortune.txt for a detailed explanation of how
    to use the program.

LEGAL STUFF

This product includes software developed by the University of
    California, Berkeley and its contributors.

The following warning was included with the Unix fortune files:
"The fortunes contained in the fortune database have been collected
haphazardly from a cacophony of sources, in number so huge it
boggles the mind. It is impossible to do any meaningful quality
control on attributions, or lack thereof, or exactness of the quote.
Since this database is not used for profit, and since entire works
are not published, it falls under fair use, as we understand it.
However, if any half-assed idiot decides to make a profit off of
this, they will need to double check it all, and nobody not involved
of such an effort makes any warranty that anything in the database
bears any relation to the real world of literature, law, or other
     bizzarrity."
