Printing Instructions
*****************

(01)	Print the Odd Pages first.
(02)	There are four basic methods a printer uses to handle paper
while printing. You will need to determine which method your
printer uses before you print your booklet. The four methods are:

Method 1:	Prints on top of paper.
			Maintains order of pages (1,2,3,...).
Method 2:	Prints on top of paper.
			Reverses order of pages (...,3,2,1).
Method 3:	Prints on bottom of paper.
			Maintains order of pages (1,2,3,...).
Method 4:	Prints on bottom of paper.
			Reverses order of pages (...,3,2,1).

(03)	Depending on the printing method identified in step (02), do
	one of the following:

Method 1:	Reverse the order of the pages and turn the stack
			over (blank side up).
Method 2:	Keep the order of the pages and turn the stack over
			(blank side up).
Method 3:	Keep the order of the pages. Keep the printed side
			of the side facing up.
Method 4:	Reverse the order of the pages. Keep the printed
side of the side facing up

(NOTE: You can change the Print Order of your printer using the
Print/Options box. This is recommended if you are using Method 1
or Method 4, since reversing the order of the pages is a
	nuisance.)

(04)	Reinsert the stack of pages back into the printer with the top
of the pages closest to the printer.
(05)	Print the Even Pages.
(06)	Cut the pages in half (top & bottom, not left & right!).
(07)	Sort the pages in page number order. Easiest method is to place
the tops in one stack with Page 1 facing up and the bottoms in a
second stack with Page 3 facing up. Pick up one piece of paper at
a time, starting with the Page 1 stack and alternating stacks
until all the pages are sorted.
(08)	Fold the pages in half to form your booklet.
(09)	Staple the crease to keep the pages together. If you don't have
a special booklet stapler, you can use a normal stapler by
unfolding the stapler and stapling the pages over a crack or soft
cardboard. You will have to fold the staples flat using
	screwdriver.

HINTS:

* Before using the macro, format your document using as small a font
as you can comfortably read to minimize the number of pages in your
booklet.
* Set the margins as small as your printer will allow to minimize
the number of pages in your booklet.
* I made the default margins large to work with most printers. If
the macro's default margins are still outside the printable area of
your printer, you can use the Fix button to adjust them each time or,
if you
are familiar with macro code, you can edit the FilePageSetup
parameters (first instance)	to match your system.
* Set the left and right margins to equal each other so the facing
pages will match.
* Setting the gutter measurement to twice the left and right margins
will center the text on each page.
* Set the footer measurement to zero (0)	to create a booklet without
page numbers.
* If you want page numbers, don't set the footer measurement less
than 0.18" or your page numbers will be clipped.
* Do not use the header measurement at all. It will only waste
space. (Default = 0")
* The macro can handle any number of pages, but more than 40 pages
is hard to fold.
* It is easier to fold the booklet first and staple through the
crease.
