InterStat, Version 1.0
_____________________________________________________

InterStat is a Windows-based program for producing reports on the activity at
your FTP or WEB site. The file reads from the log produced by your server
software, and based upon settings you control, produces reports outlining the
level of activity at your site. The program provides a simple means of
configuring your reports using a multi-page tabbed dialog.
InterStat can be run interactively or silently. When run silently, the program
will open the log file, produce the report, and exit without requiring any
interaction. This feature allows you to configure the program to be run
automatically to produce timely reports.

InterStat can process the log files produced by the FTP server that ships with
Windows NT, and the log file produced by the HTTPS server from the European NT
group. The program can produce reports in one of three formats: RTF, HTML, or
straight text. The RTF report can be opened with the WordPad applet that ships
with Windows95, or with any word processor that supports the RTF format. The
HTML produced can be used to provide information to your Web-site users on
activity levels. Because InterStat allows you to specify the pathname for the
output report, you can even have the program automatically update the actual
Web page when finished.

InterStat is provided as shareware; if you use the software, a registration
fee of $35.00 US is requested. For more information, see the section on
registering InterStat.

System Requirements
InterStat requires Windows95 or Windows NT version 3.51. It will not run on
Win32s. If you have enough resources (memory, etc.) to run one of these
operating systems, then you have enough to run InterStat. The installed
program uses a little over 1 megabyte of hard disk space; most of this is for
the run-time libraries from Borland. If you already have another product that
uses these files, you can save most of this space.
