Welcome to Elvis On Guard, a product of the unreasonably proud
Division of Useless and Bizarre Products here at dazzles software.

Elvis On Guard will make your home seem lived in while you're away.
Leave Elvis running on your PC, and he'll make sounds and play movies
at random times that you can select.

It's easy to get Elvis started. Just hand him the cupcake, and
he'll go to work, making occasional noises until you turn him off
by either clicking on the house or closing the program. To see
what he's going to play, and to make changes, click on
"What Should I Do?".

Elvis On Guard comes with a small selection of sounds to try. You
can add other .WAV or .AVI files to Elvis. If you have access to
the Internet, www.moviewavs.com has a good selection of sounds to
choose from. The Elvis On Guard zip file doesn't contain any .AVI
files(movie clips) because they would make Elvis too large
to download conveniently (God knows, the real Elvis was too large
to download conveniently). However, your Windows 95 CD contains
.AVI files of Edie Brickell and the movie "Rob Roy" in the
funstuff\videos directory which can be added to Elvis to let
him play movies.

You can try Elvis free for 30 days. After that Elvis will expire and
refuse to do anything. You can buy Elvis by printing out the file,
"register.txt" from the elvisgrd folder. Send that form and $20 to
dazzles, and we'll send you a registration code to keep Elvis alive at
your house forever (kinda like the real Elvis).

One note: Elvis must be installed in c:\elvisgrd. If you've installed
him somewhere else, he'll refuse to work until you put him in
c:\elvisgrd.
