Readme.txt document for FaveSave 7.1 (September 25 1996)

When reading this (and any other text file) with Notepad, you may find it helpful to maximise its window and turn on Word Wrap (from the Edit menu).

FaveSave is an quick and easy way to save Internet shortcuts ('Favorites') for Microsoft Internet Explorer from within any application.

To install FaveSave simply create a new folder (a sub-folder of the Program Files folder is ideal) and unzip the favesave.zip file into it. Then find the favesave.exe file (with an icon of a yellow 3.5" disk with a heart on it) and create a shortcut somewhere convenient.

FaveSave does not copy any configuration files into any other folders.

I may include a Help file in the next release, but as FaveSave is so simple to use it is not really necessary and the main buttons have "Tool Tips".

However there are full instructions for its use in the file named fsinstru.htm, open it with Internet Explorer. The instructions and *.gif files may be deleted after use if you wish.

There are also registration details in this file (and in the file register.txt), please take a moment to read them - I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

If you continue to use FaveSave without registering it will cease to function after 30 uses, registration will restore full functionality and enable some advanced features.

Please email me with any questions, suggestions or comments you may have.
