    WinTo Directory Shell Shortcut
    Version 1.05 November, 1996
    By Mike Bailey mhbailey@mhtc.net

WinTo allows you to navigate your directories using shortcuts saved in the
WinTo.ini file in the same directory as WinTo.exe. The length of the WinTo
shortcuts is limited to 8 characters. Two methods exist for using the
    shortcuts.

    1) The list box allows you to scroll through the current shortcut list. Using
either the Enter key or double-clicking on an entry will take you to the
    directory shown in the shortcut.

    2) You can also edit the shortcut field. Once
a valid shortcut is entered and you select the Go To button, WinTo will change
to the directory associated with the shortcut in WinTo.ini and then shell to
    DOS.

With either method, WinTo remains active until closed using the Exit button.

To add an entry to the shortcut list, enter a shortcut in the Directory
shortcut field and an entry in the Directory full path field. You can use
the Browse Dirs button to select a directory. If there is no file in the
selected directory, enter any file name in the File name field. When Open
is selected, the file name is pasted to the Directory short cut field and
the directory is pasted to the Directory full path field in WinTo. You
should edit the shortcut at this point before selecting the Add button to
add it to the shortcut list.

The WinTo.ini file that keeps the shortcuts and their full paths can be
edited using notepad or any ASCII editor. Currently, this is the only way
to remove shortcuts from the listing. If an environment size other than
1024 bytes for the DOS shell is desired, edit the variable EnvVar in the
[WinToInit] section. An acceptable range is from 1024 to 32000 bytes.

The Exit button terminates WinTo without any action.

If an action other than Exit is performed, WinTo saves its last position on
the desktop and reappears at that location the next time it is executed.

You can also use WinTo from a DOS prompt in Windows by entering "WinTo
shortcut", where shortcut is a valid shortcut previously stored in
WinTo.ini. WinTo will change to that directory and create a new DOS shell.

The last shortcut used appears in the Directory shortcut field when WinTo is
executed. This can be changed if another shortcut is desired.

WinTo can be freely redistributed as long as WinTo.exe and WinTo.hlp are
    kept together.
