Refresh is a small app which sends a repaint event to every window currently visible. It's main use is for programmers, who often end up with corrupted screens while debugging programs (especially if you're forced to use Watcom's crappy debugger (grrr)), however some buggy video drivers and programs can also leave rubbish on the screen. Refresh may be run in two modes. When run ordinarily, Refresh displays an icon at the bottom of the screen. Double clicking on this icon will result in a refresh event. Alternatively, if it's run with the command line; REFRESH /NOWINDOW Refresh will not display an icon, and causes the screen to be repainted immediately. This is useful in conjunction with a program like Dropper or WinDock. Refresh is free, and may be distributed to anyone as long as this file is distributed with it.
