	The other day I logged onto Compuserve and to my suprize 
there were some messages waiting for me. And what messages they 
were. Bugs! Bugs! and more Bugs! No way I thought, No way. I quickly 
logged off from compuserve, ran Icon Palette v1.0, and to my 
absolute horror .... Yes Way! Bugs! Bugs! and more Bugs! When I 
released Icon palette v1.0 I thought I was being so clever. I had 
removed all the Bugs!, polished up the interface and put several of 
Windows 3.1's advanced features into one small package. And there it 
was.....my first Windows program. Version 1.0, the one and only. 
There was no way I would have to release version's 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 
1.2a etc. You know what its like, as fast as you download one version a 
Bug fix version appears. 

	Well here it is. Icon Palette v1.1, my Bug fix version. 
What can I say. Well now I know why all those Bug fix versions 
appear. Everytime you find a better way to do something or add a new 
feature you run the risk of introducing a bug. And that's what 
I did. Originally the drop and drag feature worked with file manager 
and norton desktop's file window. But then I polished up the 
interface and that meant changing the structure of the source code. 
As a result the drop and drag feature no longer worked with file 
manager. However, it continued to work well with norton desktop. 
So I was none the wiser. Well now I am!

	I would like very much to thank those few people who took 
the time to leave messages for me on compuserve. All the Bugs have 
now been exterminated!.....I think? The Drop and Drag feature now 
works with File Manager and Norton Desktop's file window, the 
background color doesn't disappear, and using the new 'hide' feature 
Icon Palette is superfast, even when loaded with twenty programs. As 
well I have introduced a few new features making Icon palette the 
ideal shell and a much better program.

	Icon Palette is still Freeware. So if you like it, it's 
yours with my compliments.
