Install Instructions:
===========================================
4 steps easy install! (You need to have a java virtual machine on your server, if
you have any JDK 1.1.x, then it's ok! If you have IE4/5 installed, then you also
already have java VM! Otherwise you may download a Java VM free. Please read
the manual.doc for more details)

1. Copy the ntsvc.exe file into the directory server on your computer.
2. Unzip the ClientXYZ.zip file into the directory c:\home\infochat\www on your computer.
3. Open a MSDOS prompt. Go to the directory where the chat server is in,
install your chat server by typing ntsvc /install
4. Go to the control panel, double click on Services, scroll down to InfoChatSvc,
set the startup option to automatic, click on Start.

If you have windows 95/98, just double click on infochat.exe to run it!
(this works under NT too)

Test the chat server now!
===========================================
One easy way to verify that your ChatServer is running correctly is to
use the following test:
suppose your server has the IP or domain name aaa, once you have started
the ChatServer, try to load the following page up from a web browser:
http://aaa:10080 . It should tell you that the page /home/infochat/www/index.html
is not available. Use 127.0.0.1 as aaa if you are running localy the chat server
on a machine that is not connected to the internet.

Load the client/index.html page up from your web browser, log into the chat system,
if everything is set up correctly, you should be able to chat. Make sure that you
are not loading up the client/index.html file directly from the harddisk, but
through your web server. Otherwise, because of the Java applet security restrictions,
your chat client won't be able to connect to the chat server. InfoChat has a built-in
web server running on the port 10080, and having home directory as /home/infochat/www
(or C:\home\infochat\www). Copy the client files to this root directory, and load up
the page http://aaa:10080 if you need to test the chat client without your own web server.

Uninstall Instructions
===========================================
1. Stop the InfoChatSvc service from the control panel.
2. Go to the directory where the chat server is in, install your chat server by typing
ntsvc /uninstall
