NOTE:
This is the first release.  It has been working since May 1998.

ABOUT:
The program is designed for a user to record ad hoc enquiries taken by phone, email or post.

INSTALLATION:
Run the set-up program and follow the on screen prompts.  Once the program has been installed, move the shortcut to your start-up folder if you want it to run automatically each time you run windows.  The first time you run the program you will need to follow the online instructions to link the data and front end files.  Essentially a browse dialogue opens and you select the folder in which you have installed the program.  Run the program from the icon that is automatically created in the start, programs, ad hoc enquiry folder.  Use the login name of demo with no password (leave the field blank).  Further installation notes can be found in the "UserManual.doc".

UNINSTALLATION:
Run the uninstall program by selecting Add/Remove Programs from the Windows Control Panel.

AD HOC ENQUIRY END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

Use of Ad Hoc Enquires (hereinafter "SOFTWARE") is contingent on your agreement to the following terms:

1. GRANT OF LICENSE
Mr D Wilson grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the SOFTWARE free of charge if you are a student, faculty member or staff member of an educational institution or your use of the SOFTWARE is exclusively at home for non-commercial purposes.

2. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Mr D Wilson FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.  THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT AND DOCUMENTATION REMAINS WITH RECIPIENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Mr D Wilson BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF Mr D Wilson HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

3. SCOPE OF GRANT
You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the SOFTWARE.  Mr D Wilson shall retain title and all ownership rights to the SOFTWARE.

4. COPYRIGHT
This SOFTWARE is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.

5. MAINTENANCE
Mr D Wilson is not obligated to provide maintenance or updates for the SOFTWARE.  However, any maintenance or updates provided by Mr D Wilson shall be covered by this Agreement.

6. DISTRIBUTION
The SOFTWARE may be freely distributed provided that it is not modified and the original archive remains intact with all accompanying files, and provided that no fee is charged (except for any reasonable fees necessary to cover costs of distribution media).  Should a fee be charged or any of the distribution package need to be modified you must contact Mr D Wilson for explicit written permission.

Open the main window by clicking on the shortcut found on the "Start" button.  Read the User Manual or check the online help.

BUG REPORTS:
When reporting a bug always include the following:
1) A detailed description of the bug.
2) Can you get the bug to reoccur?
3) What version you're running?
4) What other applications or items in the start-up folder were running when the error occurred?
5) Anything special about your install i.e. if you're not running the English version of 95 or some other special version of 95.
6) Your own suggested reason for the bug.
