Instructions for getting the program to run:

This program is compiled with Visual C++ 6.0 and requires the newest
Mfc42.dll. This file MUST be on the system for the program to work. If
not found the following error message will be returned: "The
ORGANIZER.EXE file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6880."
The file may be downloaded from MS or from my homepage. It should then
be placed in the windows\system directory.
This program uses Winamp mp3 player, that must be present on the system.
Winamp is shareware and can be downloaded from www.winamp.com.
Other players may also work but Winamp is the only one that has been
tested.

To get MP3 CD Organizer to run properly, there is some things
that you need to have. As this program uses a MS Access 97 database,
you will need to have ODBC with support for Access 97 databases
installed. Probably you already have this if you are running Office 97.
Those can also be downloaded from the MS site. www.microsoft.com/data/odbc

The program will have to change some information in the registry (ODBC
options). This is done the first time you run the program. Simply
follow the given instructions. If you are using an older version of
ODBC you may have to select the datasource manually. Here are the
instructions: Open the control panel, open ODBC 32, select "Access
Database Songs", then click configure. Find the button Select and
then the database file, songs.mdb on your harddrive. It should be
located in the same directory as the rest of the program.

If you have a previous version installed you will probably have to
empty the database!

Description of the different buttons in the program:

Play: Sends the songs in the playlist to Winamp.

New: Adds a new CD or a Directory to the database.
If checked in options, two levels of subdirectories will
also be scanned. The program can also be used to scan
audio cd's. (Perhaps not so usefull)

Delete: Removes a session from the database.

Options: Here you can select the path to the player you are using.
If you want you can choose the files to be enqueued when
sent to Winamp and if you want to scan subdirectorys when
	    adding a new session.

Read ID3: Reads the info stored in the mp3 file if any. Such as
	    artist, album and more.

Playlist: Writes the files you have choosed to a playlist file, M3U.
If you doubbleclick this file later, the files listed in it
	    will be played in Winamp.

Quick menu: A quick-menu will appear when clicking the right mouse
	    button.

The other functions should be obvious!

(This program is Y2K compliant, I hope...:=)
