1. The purpose of this program

   This ActiveX DLL purpose is to translate integer numbers into their
   equivalent in letter written words, for example, the number 300 would
   be converted into "three hundred", and so on.

   The program can convert numbers into letter in english and in spanish
   providing a procedure for programmers to easily manage this task in
   language not necessarily known to them.

2. Installation procedure

   To install the program run the setup utility included with the convi.zip
   file. This file will:

   1. Copy the necessary files to the correct directories (windows and system)
   2. Register Conversion.DLL ActiveX DLL into the system registry
   3. Upgrade some files of your system if required
   4. Make available the uninstall option for the program.

   Once installed you can try the two samples included with the program. Open the
   Excel file sample for instructions and press <Alt>F11 to see the code and how
   the ActiveX is referenced and used in VBA code. Open the visual basic sample
   project to lear how to use the ActiveX from within visual basic.

3. Status of the program

   This program is "SHAREWARE" meaning you should pay a small fee for a registered
   full version (this sample version converts numbers up to 50,000 only). The fee
   is only $.10.00 for the up to billions version. For special needs you can contact
   the author.

4. Distribution status

   You can freely distribute this shareware version but, unless you get the registered
   version, you will always be limited to numbers up to 50,000. Once you get the
   registered version you will not have this limit and you will be able to distribute
   the DLL file with your applications only.
