To install, unzip all files into a temporary directory. Then run the program "setup.exe" in that
directory. The installation program will prompt you for where you want to place the program and
files. After installation you can delete the temporary directory as well as the Golfstat.zip file if
you want. This program is shareware, and can be freely distributed. All features of the
unregistered version are fully functional except the number of golfers, number of courses, and
number of rounds. For technical questions about using the software or registration send e-mail to
Jschaefer@ou.edu.

GolfStat 1.5 keeps track of an unlimited number of golfers, courses, and rounds played. Each
players index and course handicap are calculated. Index calculations follow PGA formulas, and
corrections are made for equitable stroke control and tournament scores according to PGA
guidelines. In addition, there are statistics calculated on average score, expected score, average
number of puts, greens in regulation, putting accuracy, scores on holes (number of birdees, pars,
eagles...), yardage, and other statistics. Statistics can be calculated for individual rounds, all
rounds at one course, or all rounds in a golfers history at all courses. Statistics can be printed or
saved to a file to keep track of changes over a season or many rounds. Unregistered version is
fully functional, but limited to 2 golfers, 2 courses, and 10 rounds.
