The File menu

The file menu is the first menu on the menu bar at the top of the main window. It has the following items:
  • Write Changed. When making a change to a setting in Update Configurator it will be reflected in the configuration database, but not in the various files that Update Configurator produce to control the updating of the workstations at boot-time. This menu item will cause any files that has "changed" since the last write to be written to disk. A Write Changed command is automatically issued when Update Configurator exits.
  • Write All. Rewrites all the files that Update Configurator produces to control the updating of the workstation.
  • Exit. You guessed it, this will cause Update Configurator to stop.
