Status Bar

The Status Bar is by default shown at the bottom of the main window. It can be removed by choosing the 'Status Bar' item of the 'View' menu. This is a toggle - if the Status Bar is not visible choosing the same menu item will make it visible. From left to right the items on the status bar are:

  • The message area. A short help string is displayed here when the cursor is above a command button or menu item.
  • The letter 'A'.
  • A box showing the current archive.
  • The letter 'G'.
  • A box showing the current group.
  • The letter 'W'.
  • A box showing the current workstation.
