Update Configurator Help System

Help

Pressing F1 at the main window will bring up the Introduction. Pressing shift+F1 at the main window will turn on help mode (the cursor is a question mark) and pressing a button on a toolbar will show help about that button. When a menu item is highlighted pressing F1 will show help on that menu item. Pressing F1 with a dialog open will show help on the dialog. All help is standard html (web-pages) and in order for the help functions to function correctly you have to have a default web browser installed - any browser should do.

Note: for unknown reasons this will not allways work. If the contents of your browsers window does not change to reflect the topic you choose in Update Configurator try closing the browser and choose the topic again. If Update Configurator fails to start your browser (seen in Release Candidate 0 of Windows 98) you will have to find the help yourself by pointing your browser to the file "Index.htm" in the subdirectory "updcfg.hlp" of your Update Configurator directory.
