  Installation
  ------------
Installation of the x-FONE5 Phone Directory for Web Servers consists of
copying the x-FONE5 files below to directories on your web server which
have been configured for CGI Windows applications and HTML documents.

  File Name Description Installed Where
  ----------- --------------------------------- -----------------------
X-FONE5.EXE x-FONE5 executable file Windows CGI Directory
X-FONE5.DLL x-FONE5 DLL file (for IIS) Windows CGI Directory
X-FONE5.HTM Sample HTML document file HTML Documents Directory
DBFDBE.DLL DLL File (32-bit version only) Windows CGI Directory
NTXDBE.DLL DLL File (32-bit version only) Windows CGI Directory
XPPRT1.DLL DLL File (32-bit version only) Windows CGI Directory
XPPUI1.DLL DLL File (32-bit version only) Windows CGI Directory
XPPNAT.DLL DLL File (32-bit version only) Windows CGI Directory
SOM.DLL DLL File (32-bit version only) Windows CGI Directory

From the above table, the Windows CGI Directory is a web server directory
which is designated for CGI Windows applications. For many web server
installations, this would normally be the /CGI-WIN directory, but can be
any directory which has been configured for CGI Windows.

From the above table, the HTML Documents Directory is a web server
directory which is designated for HTML documents. For many web server
installations, this would normally be the /HTDOCS or /DOCS directory, but
can be any directory which has been configured for HTML documents.

The X-FONE5.DLL file is only required for installation on Microsoft IIS
web servers, and HTML pages must call this X-FONE5.DLL file instead of the
  X-FONE5.EXE file.

The X-FONE5.HTM file is a sample HTML document which illustrates how
x-FONE5 functions can be called from your own web page HTML document.

When x-FONE5 is executed for the first time, the following files will be
automatically created by x-FONE5 and placed in the same directory where
  the X-FONE5.EXE executable resides:

    File Name Description
    ----------- -------------------
    X-FONE5.FRM Output Format File
    X-FONE5.INI Parameters File
    FONE.DB Phone Database File
    FONE.N1 Phone Index File 1

    FONE.N6 Phone Index File 6
    FONE.N7 Phone Index File 7
    FONE.N8 Phone Index File 8

The X-FONE5.FRM file is an HTML format file which is used by x-FONE5 to
determine the look-n-feel of your desired x-FONE5 output pages.

The X-FONE5.INI file is an ASCII text file that contains various setup and
  operating parameters for x-FONE5.

Note that the default password for both Management and Administration
  access is 'ext'.
