Important: If you are currently using 1Jump for Windows version 1.0, you must first
UNINSTALL that program using "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel, before
installing the current version. 1Jump for Windows 2.0 is a complete re-write, and
will not overwrite the earlier version.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

1. Changes from Version 1.0
2. New Features in Version 2.0

1. Changes from Version 1.0

  1.1 Programmatic Changes

    1Jump for Windows 2.0 is a self-contained C++ program, unlike v1.0,
which relied on a runtime database.

  1.2 Program Size

1Jump for Windows 2.0 is approximately 245k, including the Nickname Manager.
This is a significantly smaller file size than v1.0, which was nearly 3MB
    uncompressed.

2. New Features

  2.1 Persistent Stay On Top

It is now possible to have the 1Jump application remain in the forefront of
your Windows applications. This means that even if you click on a link within
a browser window, 1Jump will not 'disappear' from view. This feature can be
    disabled/enabled at will.

  2.2 Activate At Start Up

You can now choose to start 1Jump every time you run Windows, or not.
If this feature is selected, 1Jump will start minimized in the system tray.

  2.3 Dedicated Nickname Manager

The new Nickname Manager allows you to add, modify, or delete nicknames
(words or phrases that YOU define for web sites) with ease.

  2.4 Help Program

A comprehensive help program is now included under the Help menu.

  2.5 Smaller Program Window Size

Now occupies much less screen space.

  2.6 Smaller Program Size

Mentioned in section 1, above, but bears repeating: Occupies a minimum of physical
    and virtual memory.

  2.7 Persistent Preferences

Your preferences are preserved between sessions. For instance, if you keep the
1Jump program window in a favorite specific location for browser viewing, it
will return to that position when you restart Windows.
