The PROXY.INI file in the BIN subdirectory is the configuration file for the
PSI Proxy server.

THE SETUP.TXT file tells you how to setup and use the PSI Proxy service.

7. INSTALLING PSI Proxy Server

There is no setup program for PSI Proxy Server, as it doesn't really need one. Installation
is done by simply copying the supplied files:

Download the PSIProxy.exe and double click it, the setup program will copy
the files to a suitable directory of your choice. This need not
 be on your path.

Next, read README.TXT and SAMPLE.INI (under BIN subdirectory) carefully,
and setup the proxy server configuration file PROXY.INI under the BIN subdirectory.

Then you can double click the PSIPROXY.BAT under the BIN subdirectory to start the
proxy server, if you have Microsoft Java VM installed (jview.exe) on your proxy machine.

If you don't have Microsoft Java VM installed(jview.exe) on your proxy machine, you can
run the PSIPROXY-SUN.BAT under the BIN subdirectory to start the proxy server. The Batch
file use SUN's Java VM runtime that comes with the PSI Proxy Server software.

If you like to have PSI Proxy server handy on your desktop, make sure that you place a
shortcut of PSIPROXY.BAT or PSIPROXY-SUN.BAT there.

If you want the PSI Proxy to run automatically every time you start your proxy machine,
you can create a shortcut of PSIPROXY.BAT or PSIPROXY-SUN.BAT under the
 Windows Startup program group.
