SEEKEASY - Shareware for Windows 95, 98, and NT 4.0.

You may freely distribute UNREGISTERED copies of the SeekEasy. Full
registration is just $29.00.

SeekEasy solves the universal computer-user's dilemma: "I KNOW it's
in here SOMEWHERE - but WHERE?"

SeekEasy is a "fuzzy-match" text-searching utility program. It scans
your disk files to find the text you're looking for, even if it's
"just close" to the text you told it to search for. Your search
request can have misspellings, scrambled word-order, missing words,
partial words - and SeekEasy will still probably find your desired text.

SeekEasy will search one file, multiple files or folders, or multiple
drives. It does not generate any indexes or temporary files. It will
search through text files and even binary files (.exe, .jpg, etc.).

SeekEasy displays the search results in "best-matches-shown-first" order.
The matched text is shown in context, in an 18-line scrollable window into
the source file.

A sample use: You're trying to find the street address (or e-mail address)
of your Uncle Mortimer. All you remember is that he lives in California,
and that you wrote a note to him on your PC about his new Honda. Just
enter "Uncle Mortimer California Honda," and start the search. SeekEasy
will find the file, and show you the contents. It'd work nearly as well
searching for "Uncel Mort Honduh Calif," due to SeekEasy's fuzzy-match
algorithm.

SeekEasy is also useful to computer programmers trying to determine which
module has a specific function definition; collectors organizing their
collections - say a large music collection for example; or anyone just
facing the "universal computer problem": "I KNOW it's in here SOMEWHERE!"

The accompanying file: inst836.exe is the "InstallShield-installation"
version. When you click on it, it will begin installing the SeekEasy
program on your computer, asking permission as it does so. After installation,
to run the SeekEasy program, select Start -> Programs ->SeekEasy.

There is an optional "zipped-files, install it yourself" version, which
does not affect the Windows Registry. Visit our website if you prefer that
version:
