The purpose of Bursdag
-------------------------
Bursdag is a practical birthday register which help you to remember your friends
birthdays and other memorable events. 

A memo list attached to each user help you remember gifts, episodes, deals, 
dates and other events that you relate to each person you add to the 
applications register.  

It is possible to choose between the English and Norwegian languages from a menu setting.

INSTALLING Bursdag
------------------------------

Automatic installation with the setup program:
Double-click the burins11.exe to start the installation program.
The installation program will then guide you through the installation.

Manual Installation:
If you have obtained a copy of bursdag without the setup program, or
you prefer to do installations manually, here is the procedure:
1 Check that you have the required files: bursdag.exe, bursdag.ico, mfc42.dll, 
msvcrt.dll, Readme.txt and Lesmeg.txt. (data.bur will be created). 
2. Create a new directory where you want to have the application. 
3. Copy bursdag.exe, bursdag.ico, Readme.txt, Lesmeg.txt and eventually an existing 
copy of data.bur to this directory.
4. Copy mfc42.dll and msvcrt.dll to the windows\system directory.
This is usually C:\windows\system on windows 95 and 98, and C:\winnt\system32 on NT. 
5. That's it! start the application by double clicking bursdag.exe. If you make shortcuts 
to the application you have to make sure that the application start in the directory
where the application resides.
