Readme file for Gemini version 1.0
----------------------------------------------

Hello! If you're reading this, then you've just downloaded Gemini 1.0.
This file should give you a little background information on the program,
contact information, and instructions on how to install.

Background Information:

Basically, this program started as a project to kill time. I wanted
to see if I could write a program that embedded files without corrupting
them. Well, a certain person suggested I make it into a shareware program,
because people would "really like something like that." So, I did. And now,
it's complete and available for you to use. "Gemini" is that name given to
the third sign of the zodiac. The icon for the program is the astrological
symbol for Gemini (no, it's not a Roman numeral 2!) It took me almost two
months to create, using VisualBasic 5.0. The archive should've contained the
following files:

~ SETUP.EXE - The setup program
~ VENDINFO.DIZ - Vender information
~ README.TXT - This file

If the archive you downloaded DIDN'T contain all these files, then
E-mail the author for an authentic copy. Contact information is found
below.

Requirements:

Gemini 1.0 requires the following hardware / software:

~ A 486 or better running Windows 95
~ VisualBasic Version 5.0
~ 2.5 MB of Hard drive space

To run the examples, it's recommended that you have a sound card.

How to Install:

Pretty simple, really. . . Just unzip the files included with the
main archive, and run the program named "Setup." The setup wizard should
guide you through the rest of the installation process. Once you are done
installing, you should restart your computer to finish.

Registration:

The full version of Gemini is $10 U.S. funds. When you register, you
receive the unrestricted, newest version of the program, as well as full
source code.
