Visicat/PSE

Congratulations on your purchase of Visicat Architect Lite.

This installation contains the CGI version of the internet search engine
and a copy of searchgen.exe should be located in your c:\inetpub\scripts directory.

You should have another set of installation disks or download files containing Visicat Architect.

This version will work with Windows NT and IIS 2.0 or with the Windows 95
Personal Web server.

Catalog Template

A catalog template has also been included. To use, extract the zip file into
the c:\inetpub\wwwroot directory and the appropriate sub directories
will be created. You may edit the template to fit your companies requirements,
but maintain the relationship of the directories overall to ensure proper catalog
operation. If you must change the directory structure, make sure that the HTML calls
to the search engine are also modified accordingly.

Usage Log

A log file is automatically created for part number hits. This file is located
in the application directory and titled visicathitlog.txt. It contains the IP address, family
part number and date of the inquiry. The Visicat.Report product allows for viewing of these results.

General Log

The visicatpselog.txt is the general log and captures all errors among other messages. This should
be removed occasionally to save disk space.
