TagMaker for Windows writes HTML code from the attributes of an image file
combined with a layout description. It has a point-and-click interface for
ease of use. Once the required layout has been entered clicking on a
filename formats the HTML code and copies it directly to the clipboard
ready to paste into your HTML code. The obvious use is to create code in
the format <IMG SRC="file.gif" HEIGHT=100 WIDTH=200>. However, simply by
changing the layout description it could create something like

<A href="file.jpg">
<IMG SRC="file.gif" HEIGHT=100 WIDTH=200 ALT="file.jpg, 104541 bytes">
</A>

The time saved on a page displaying a set of thumbnail images would quickly
mount up, saving you time and ultimately money. Another use is in ASP
programming where the image sent to the browser depends on the browser type.
