   Welcome to DeskTop Control Suite

DeskTop offers, Windows95 made easy. With DeskTop you will have
up to five different destops for easy access to all your applications
at all times. No more having five windows open to find that one game
or 30 different icons cluttering everything up. Within 4 clicks you
can have any program running. Desktop Control puts a desk icon in your
system tray. With a single left mouse click you will have a menu popup
showing the names, you can choose and change, of your up to five menu's.
Left click on for example, Games, and all your games icons appear on
your desktop that you have specified in AddName's. If you need to see
your system resources or hide all contents of your desktop, they are now
within a single left mouse click also. You can have one or all the icons
showing at once or clear Games and just put your Internet selections.
On your popup menu is also Setup. Clicking here will popup a window where
you can change how many menu's will show on the popup, the names of the
menu's, if System Info and Toggle Desktop are available and the sounds
played during menu change or if any sounds are played at all. Also on the
popup menu is CD-Door, this opens then closes your CD-Rom door, displaying
a window showing condition.

AddNames is a program included with DeskTop Control that creates the
shortcuts that will appear after your menu's are clicked. If you had, Create
Shortcuts, clicked during installation a Mneu was created in your StartUp
folder for fast and easy access to DeskTop, Addnames and all of Suite's
"other" programs. After Installation run AddNames. The program will open then
collect info on your system as to the how many drives you have and names of.
After your drive"s" appear with C:\ being default, click on Search. A list
will appear with all programs on C:\ drive, click on one you wish to have
access to then click copy. A window will appear giving you the option as
to which menu the program you selected will appear on, click on the
appropriate one then you will be brought back to AddNames. You can create
all your menu's at once or any time you wish.

There is a Readme include with any furthe help you would need and a further
description of the other features with DeskTop Control Suite. Feel free to
email me at denkim.u@usa.net with any questions you may have. Enjoy a easy
Windows95.

Since you are reading this you have either unzipped the files, four of them,
inclucding this Welcome.txt, or are just viewing to see whats in here. I'll
help you out.
Unzipp all files to a directory. You will have four files there:
          Welcome.txt
          Dsrun.exe
          Desk.cab
          Setup.exe
Now you can either go to the directory you unzipped the files to and double
click Setup to install DeskTop Control Suite or you can go to your start menu
and click on Run, then type in the path you unzipped into and type Setup.
During setup you will be asked what directory you want to install into with
a default be givin of C:\Desktop Control. You can change this to anywhere you
would like to install. After choosing a directory you will be asked if you would
like to add a menu in your startup folder, meaning, you will be able to go to
Start, then Programs then Desktop Control to start, configure and run Desktop
and the rest of Suite. Nearing the end of setup you will be asked if you would
like to configure Desktop, the QuickDial and read the Readme file. If you choose
no at that time you can configure either later by going to Start, Programs, Desktop
and clicking the appropriate, SetupOption or DialerSetup. You will be able to watch
the files transfer to the directory you chose. Thats it, DeskTop Control Suite will
be installed on your system. To uninstall simply go to the directory you installed
into and delete the entire directory.
Desktop Control is shareware. It is not crippled or disabled in any way. That
doesn't give you a very good test of a program if you don't get to try the whole
thing does it, I know I wouldn't buy a car I couldn't start it. You will get a "NAG"
screen mentioning to you it would be nice to register the program so you don't
have to see these nag screens anymore, thats it. You can use it the rest of your
life if you want with a nag popping up whenever you clear your screen.
You can distribute this program to anyone you'd like on any format you'd like
eg, floppy, cd, whatever, as long as there is no charge for the program and the files
must be kept together(Welcome.txt,Dsrun.exe,Desk.cab,Setup.exe)and unaltered in
any way.
