This is the readme file for Desktop Control

You can install this archive to any dir you wish as long
as all files stay in the same dir. That way nothing is
installed onto your computer and if you don't like the
Desktop Control, you can just delete the entire dir.
There is some work you have to do to be able to use this
program, simply because not all pc's are the same or have
 same directory tree.
Once you have unzipped everything to a dir. eg. C:\Mastr,
there will be files there consisting of:

        AddNames.exe
        Desk2.exe
        winzef.ini
        apps.txt
        clear.txt
        games.txt
        general.txt
        graphics.txt
        inter.txt
        Readme.txt
        Address-Book
        CountDown.exe
        FlashFind.exe
        Drag n' Play.exe
        Dial2.exe
        DialerSetup.exe

    What it is:
Desktop Control is a simple program that puts Icons and
removes them from your desktop giving you more control
and ease for finding and starting your programs. It also
cleans up the big mess lots of people have on there desk.
    Setting Up:
AddNames is a small program that will create the links and
put the Icons up when you need them. All you do is run
AddNames, select the program you want to link for Desktop
Control to recognise the shortcut. To use AddNames you go
to the directory you unzipped the archive to and double
click the AddNames Icon starting the program. There is also
a Menu created during installation in your Start Menu for
easy access to AddNames and DesktopControl. After running
AddNames and picking a program to link you click COPY. A
menu will pop up asking what menu you will want the program
to be under, click the menu then you will be brought back to
 do it again.
    Toggle Desktop:
Does just that, it will hide and show the desktop icons, all
but My Computer, Briefcase and Recycle Bin, or whatever you have
 named these.
    Setup Options:
Brings up a window giving you choices for how many menu's appear
when Desktop Control icon is clicked. You can have as many as five
giving each a name you choose. You can have as little as 2. Other
choices are, picking sounds, toggling sounds on and off, system info
and toggle desktop letting you hide or show all your desktop with
 the single click.
    CD-Door:
Opens your cd rom door for 10 seconds then closes it automatically.
    Desktop Suite:
Is a collection of programs to make Windows95 as easy for the
user as it should be. They include, Messenger, FlashFind, Address
Book, Drag n' Play, CountDown and a new Avi Player, there is also
a dialer included for speedy connections to the net. You will have
to go to the directory you installed Desktop Control into and double
click on DialerSetup.exe to configure the dialer, you only have to
 do this once.
