*** 1. NEW IN THIS RELEASE ***

This release incorporates much of the feedback we received from
our early customers. We have done our very best to make Actioneer as
useful and uasable as possible based on this feedback. In this
release you'll find:

A. Palm III compliance.

B. Palm III multi-font support.

C. The "Details" dialog in the action note window now has active date
and time fields for on-the-fly date/time editing.

D. There is a new User Preferences dialog that allows you to:

    i. Choose to have a To Do item with a Due Date be filed ONLY to
the To Do List and not to the Date Book as well; or you can
have the item placed on both the To DO List and Date Book
	simultaneously.

ii. Choose to have notes truncated in the Date Book and then have
the full text of the action note be stored in the attached
Note in the Date Book item; or you can choose not to have
Date Book action notes truncated and all the text will be
visible in the Date Book item field.

E. Actioneer now supports linking time ranges (e.g., "8:00am -
    5:00pm" to action notes.

F. To Do and Memo Pad popup menus both contain an "Unlink" button
that will unlink any category links; these menus also contain
    category-active scrolling.

G. Addition of the keywords "noon" (parses to the current date at
"12:00pm - 1:00pm) and "tonight" (parses to the current date at
    "6:00pm - 7:00pm").

*** 5. IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE INSTALLING ***

A. You must have at least 100K of memory available on your PalmPilot
in order to run Actioneer for the Palm Computing Platform. The
Actioneer.prc file comprises 79K. A database of keywords will be
automatically generated and will require no more than 8K,
    initially.

*** 6. INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION NOTES ***

A. Unusual behavior may occur if you run Actioneer for the Palm
Computing Platform while your batteries are extremely low.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

**** 7. KNOWN ISSUES: Parsing & Keywords ****

A. If you successfully install Actioneer for the Palm Computing
Platform and then attempt to run it for the first time on a
PalmPilot that has less than 20K of memory left, you may
experience a freeze on your PalmPilot (as there will be no room
for a keyword database to be generated). You will need to reset
your PalmPilot and delete Actioneer for the Palm Computing
Platform by using the Memory tool located in the Applications
    picker.

B. The ability to create Actioneer messages with recurring dates will
be provided in a future release.

C. If you hard-reset your PalmPilot, Actioneer will reappear on your
PalmPilot after your next HotSync. However, any existing custom
    keywords may be deleted.

D. If you want to use a different date and/or time format other than
the default of HH:MM am/pm MM/DD/YY, you will need to change your
    Palm Preference Format first.

**** 8. KNOWN ISSUES: Actioneer UI ****

A. If both a To Do category and a Memo Pad category share the same
name, Actioneer for the Palm Computing Platform will display the
category name with the word "ToDo" or "Memo" added to its end.
Whether the To Do category name or the Memo category name is
displayed, differently is dependent on which had been added first.

For example, for the default Palm categories of Business and
Personal, Actioneer will display the To Do categories as
"Business" and "Personal" and the Memo categories as "Business
Memo" and "Personal Memo". You will not see any changes if you go
directly to the To Do or Memo page; this is only in Actioneer
itself. It is used to generate unique keywords for the individual
    categories.

However, this behavior will not occur if you rename an existing To
Do or Memo Pad category that has items associated with it to a
name that's the same as another To Do or Memo Pad category.

B. If you write the Graffiti shortcut "/ N" or press the Actioneer-
linked Memo Pad button before you've finished writing your action
note, your action note will appear on whichever of your
PalmPilot's native applications the action note was linked to
prior to filing. If it was yet not linked to the Date Book, To Do
List, or Memo Pad, it will appear under the To Do List of Unfiled.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
*** 9. INFREQUENT ISSUES REPORTED ***

A. If you select No Date from the Date Book application icon's pick
list while there is an unlinked date in an Actioneer message, a
link is established to this date.

B. Selecting keywords sometimes does not establish action note links.
