  About Digital Student
  =====================

    Digital Student is a distance, on-screen teaching program which enables
    educators to administer exercises, quizzes, and exams (in timed mode)
    on the students' computers. Available formats are multiple choice,
    fill-in-the blank, T/F, Y/N, C/I, essay, sequence, and matching answers.
    Directions, passages, and questions can be displayed in different fonts
    and colors. The on-screen tests may include photos, sound, and external
    word processor documents. They may also include homepages which
    automatically launch the students' web browsers to connect them to the
    teacher's (or anyone's) web sites for further assignments. Student
    answers are automatically saved, and when returned to teachers, can be
    graded, analyzed, and printed using Digital Teacher, a companion program.

    Digital Student is free, and can be freely distributed by registered
    users of Digital Teacher, a question authoring and test database
    management program, to their students.
