Welcome to Sam Spade

    Sam Spade is a network tool suite for Windows 95 and NT4, with some extra
    features for tracking unsolicited email. It's freeware.

    This release (1.04) is a beta release, there may be bugs or
    missing functionality.

Installation

    To install Sam Spade run spade104.exe. This will install the
    six files listed below, and add entries to your start menu.
    
Installed files

    README.txt   - Quick start instructions
    Spade.exe    - The program itself
    spade.hlp    - Winhelp, installed in \Windows\Help
    spade.cnt    - winhelp contents, installed in \Windows\Help
    hs_regex.dll - Regular expression library, installed in \Windows\System32
    spade.chm    - HtmlHelp file, installed in \Windows\Help

Uninstallation

    To uninstall the program select 'Uninstall Sam Spade' from your
    start menu. This will uninstall all files except hs_regex.dll,
    remove all entries from your start menu and remove all configuration
    information from the registry.
