icgate.zip Infinite InterChange: Internet e-mail server

Infinite InterChange is for businesses needing a local and remote e-mail
solution. It can serve as a total IMAP4 or POP3 client/server e-mail
solution, as well as provide remote Internet access to your existing
network e-mail. It also offers gateway support, allowing local e-mail
users to send messages over the Internet and other gateways. Infinite
InterChange supports IMAP4, POP3, Web/HTML, and Handheld Device Markup
Language (HDML). HDML allows users to communicate via cellular services
that use Unwired Planet's UP.Link gateway such as AT&T PocketNet Service.

As an enhancement to your existing e-mail platform, Infinite InterChange
is a versatile messaging transport that bridges the gap between
proprietary LAN-based e-mail systems and open Internet standards.
Infinite InterChange presents a non-proprietary, cost-effective remote
e-mail access solution as an alternative to expensive proprietary
options. Infinite InterChange supports e-mail packages as diverse as
BeyondMail, cc:Mail, DaVinci eMAIL, ExpressIT! 2000, Microsoft Exchange,
and Microsoft Mail. In addition, Infinite InterChange offers access to
Internet-standard IMAP4 and POP3 mailboxes. Infinite InterChange even
includes ExpressIT! 2000, Infinite Technologies' powerful, 32-bit,
multi-protocol e-mail system; and WebMail, to offer your users Web access
to their corporate e-mail.

Infinite InterChange also functions as a Network News Transport Protocol
(NNTP) Server, providing access to existing Internet newsgroups as well
as private newsgroups created within your organization. This offers an
easy way for everyone in your workgroup to collaborate on ideas and
solutions, regardless of their work location. It provides bi-directional
replication with other Infinite InterChange news servers as well as other
Internet news servers.
