A+ JPEG Screensaver Creator Instructions and Help

First! Run setup.exe to install A+ on your system so you
will be able to select Aplus as your screensaver.

A+ screensaver will display your jpeg pictures in random order!
You can also choose a wav sound file or midi music file to be played
when the screensaver starts. Other features include adjusting the
background colors, shutting the sound on or off, and adjusting the time
delay between pictures. Currently, there is no password option, as this
is a screensaver only. You may keep this trial version on your system
for 60 days. Registered users will receive future upgrades FREE of charge,
and will receive a new version which does not display the ordering
delay screen. This software costs only 14.95.

This install has automatically selected some pictures and a midi file
for you so you can view how the screensaver works. The files which
have been added are aplus1.jpg, aplus2.jpg, aplus3.jpg, aplus4.jpg,
aplus5.jpg, and aplus.mid. If you use your own pictures and sound
files, you can remove these jpeg files and midi file, as they will no
longer be needed (they are in your windows directory).

HELP FAQ

How do I get into screensaver settings to select a screensaver?

Click the "start" button, then click "settings", then click
"control panel". Select "display", then click the "screensaver" tab.
Once you get here, simply click the small arrow to select "Aplus", then
you can use the "settings" button to select your pictures and options.

Why use jpeg pictures?

Jpeg pictures are very popular because they are compressed and take
up very little space compared to bitmaps or gifs. Jpegs still give
you a very quality picture even though the storage size is very
minimal. If you would like some software to convert any screen
image or picture into a jpeg image, you can use "EasyScreen".
To obtain a trial shareware copy of "EasyScreen", simply point your
browser to http://members.aol.com/softdd and download it.

How come some pictures are bigger than others?

The pictures are displayed at the same size that you scanned them. The
picture quality is best when the image is displayed as its original
size.

How do I turn the sound on?

In order to turn on the sound, you must first click the "Add new wav
or midi file" button to select a sound file. Once you select a valid
sound file, you will then be able to click the "sound on" button.

How many times does the sound file play?

The sound file, wav or midi, always plays once when the
screensaver starts.
