1. The purpose of the program.

An easy to use program, file, and shortcut launcher. No frills.

Program Commander is a simple program that allows you to create Aliases for files, programs and shortcuts to launch applications from one spot, and never have to use your mouse or the Start menu. Aliases can be created by dragging files to the Program Commander window and dropping them in.

2. How to install the program.

Open PRGCMD20.ZIP with WinZip, and choose the Install option, or unzip the file into a temp directory and run SETUP.EXE. The setup program will allow you to specify a destination directory, and provides an uninstall feature.

3. The status of the program (Public Domain, Freeware, or Shareware).

This program is Shareware and the full version is available for $5. Details on the registration are in the 'Registration' tab of the Help window (hit F1 to open this window). The Shareware version only allows you to use the first 10 Aliases created.

4. The distribution status of the program.

You can distribute the zip file as you wish, however, you may not distribute the unlock code once you have registered the program.
