OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM:

This FreeWare cigar software allows you to easily track the
cigars you have smoked, where you buy them, and what you have
in your humidor. To Add a cigar to your list, all you have to
enter is the Cigar's ranking (how YOU rank it), Brand, Name,
Country of Origin, Wrapper Color, and Size/Shape. Then it is
up to you to decide what other fields you want to enter for the
cigar. Other fields include:
    Ring Gauge
    Length
Component Countries of Origin (Filler, Binder, Wrapper)
    Smoking Characteristics:
        Construction
        Flavors
        Aroma
        Etc. Etc.

Each cigar in the list can also have unlimited Purchase locations.
These allow you to list where you can buy the specific cigar,
and what the location charges for it.

Another great feature is the ability to enter unlimited humidor
entries for each cigar. These allow you to enter the qty, where, and
when you store the specific cigar in your humidors. This allows
you to easily track what you have in your humidor.

The program can automatically track how many of each cigar you
have in your humidor by the single and the box. It will also display the
grand total of all your cigars.

Your list of cigars can also be sorted by many fields including
Rank, Name, Brand, and Size/Shape.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Exit out of all running programs

For Windows NT users ONLY: In the files that were unzipped....
        - Rename the file setup.lst to setup.sav
        - Rename the file setup.NT to setup.lst

    Run the setup.exe program.

The setup program may tell you that it needs to install some files and then
restart your computer before you can install the program. This is necessary
because the program was written using Visual Basic 5.0. This version of VB
has to install new VB files on the computer. I have installed VB 5.0 programs
on many computers and this procedure has not caused any problems.
Go ahead and follow the instructions given, then after you restart, run the setup
    program again.

After setup is complete, you need to decide where you want to keep your cigar
database file. The setup program places the file cigars.mdb in the
directory where the program was installed to. If you would like to place this
file in a different directory, such as a data directory that is backed up regularly,
just move it to that location now.

The setup program places a shortcut for the program on the Programs menu. Go ahead
    and run it now.

After the program starts, it will display the "Registration Agreement" dialog.
Enter your name, and press the "I Agree" button if you agree to the terms, otherwise
    press "Cancel Installation"

A dialog will now display a short thank you message. Press OK

Now it will ask you to enter the location of the cigars.mdb file. You can use the
browse button to locate where you placed it, or just enter the location.
Once you enter the location, press the OK button.

Now the main window will appear and installation is complete.

HELP File information:

All the help for the application is contained in the file help.htm which was
placed in the directory you installed to. You should open this file with your
favorite web browser now, and read the tutorial for Adding your first cigar.

** WARNING **

I would caution against adding a lot of cigars until you get a feel for how
you want to use the program.

UN-INSTALLING THE PROGRAM

To uninstall "My Cigars", use the "Add/Remove Programs" icon in your control panel.

The program creates entries in the Registry under the key:
	HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\VB and VBA Program Settings\X+XMy CigarsX+X

    Have Fun and enjoy!
