Your admiration of our improved interface is greatly appreciated. For a variety of reasons, we have brought in new people in our technical and art departments over the past six months or so, and they've done an outstanding job of sprucing up our mag. They're threatening to continue this dangerous work, so keep an eye out for more changes.

Space - and a lack thereof - has been a real problem for the last six or seven episodes of IE. The possibility of going to two CDs per episode has been discussed, but the conversation quickly grinds to a halt when we sit down and figure out how many extra people we'd have to hire to produce a two-CD mag on a monthly basis.

We have changed some of the regular elements of IE, based on your responses to our recent reader survey. Hopefully, we're keeping the stuff that you like, and jettisoning the stuff you disliked.
