You've inadvertently exposed a couple of technical issues that have grown near and dear to our hearts.

I'm pretty sure we've fixed the sound drop at the end of a page. The video-synch and background-screen problems are peculiar to Windows95 (and I think peculiar is a damn good word to use to describe some of Win95's features). We're aware of it and we're trying to fix it. There's a school of thought around IE that the problem will disappear if we sacrifice something to Bill Gates, but I'll only do that as a last resort.
